Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Global Development Business Operations enables execution of Dompé’s clinical development programs by leading key components of the contracts lifecycle, vendor oversight, purchasing, and financial oversight processes. This role partners cross‑functionally with Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, Legal, Procurement, Finance, Quality, Program Teams and others to ensure timely, compliant, and efficient execution of Development activities. The Sr. Manager ensures vendors and partners operate in alignment with contractual, financial, and regulatory expectations, and drives process improvement initiatives that strengthen operational excellence across Development.

Job Description:
Contracts Lifecycle Management
●    Manage the end‑to‑end contract lifecycle for assigned vendors, consultants, and clinical program needs, including MSAs, SOWs, amendments, and change orders.
●    Partner with Legal, Procurement, Finance, Quality, and Development stakeholders to ensure contract terms align with scope, timelines, budgets, and compliance requirements.
●    Maintain accurate trackers, documentation, and templates to support audit readiness and operational execution.

Vendor Governance & Relationship Management
●    Manage oversight activities for relevant vendors (e.g., CROs, central labs, biometrics, eCOA providers) by maintaining key documentation, tracking action items, and monitoring performance metrics.
●    Drive vendor qualification and support audit activities and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) follow‑up as relevant.
●    Serve as an operational point of contact for assigned vendor relationships, ensuring timely issue escalation and resolution.

Purchase Order & Financial Management
●    Oversee PO creation, tracking, financial alignment, and reconciliation for assigned vendors and projects
●    Partner with Finance to support accurate budgeting, forecasting, and monthly accruals for assigned programs or functional areas.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
●    Serve as a trusted business partner to Program Leads, Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, Quality, Legal, Procurement, and other Development functions.
●    Facilitate operational alignment between contract execution, vendor oversight, financial workflows, and clinical program timelines.
●    Support inspection readiness efforts and audit‑related activities related to vendor oversight and business operations processes.
●    Ensure timely communication, documentation, and decision support to internal stakeholders.

Compliance & Process Excellence
●    Ensure all activities comply with ICH-GCP, company SOPs, and applicable regulatory requirements.
●    Contribute to development and continuous improvement of SOPs, tools, and systems related to contracts, vendor management and business operations.
●    Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance operational consistency across studies and functions.
●    Support cross‑functional initiatives to strengthen visibility, quality, and efficiency in Development operations.
●    Perform other duties, as assigned, to support the evolving needs of the DEE function and R&D Development.

Education:
●    Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Finance, or related field (required)

 

Requirements:
●    6-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D, clinical operations, vendor management, or business operations.
●    Experience with clinical contracts, outsourcing models, and financial processes preferred.
●    Working knowledge of ICH‑GCP, regulatory expectations, and inspection readiness practices.
●    Strong organizational, analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
●    Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with document, contract, and/or financial management systems.
●    Able to balance multiple priorities and work in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
●    Strong collaborator; demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
●    Travel 10-20% domestic and international as required

$155,000- 180,000 a year

At Dompe, we offer an attractive compensation package to our team members. Any offer would include a competitive base salary (estimate shared above), incentive bonus, and benefits package customary to the position. Actual individual pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
