YOUR ROLE AT  DOMPÉ

 

We are looking for a motivated and hard-working Director/Sr. Director, US Corporate Communications to join our Corporate Communication Team.  The role will be located at the Dompe US headquarters  in San Mateo, and  will report directly to the Public Affairs and Corporate Communications Head at Dompé headquarters in Milan, Italy. 

 

The individual will coordinate with the US team and external publications and agencies to deploy Dompé’s Communication plan by helping to create great content to be shared through the Company’s internal channels, websites and social networks, industry and mainstream media. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Oversee US communication strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall company communication plan. 
  • Execution of the US Communication plan in the assigned area of accountability, in line with mission, vision and corporate objectives.
  • Work closely with others in the Corporate Communications department to develop messaging, press releases, contributed articles, event strategy and media relations strategy for announcements and/or corporate marketing campaigns. 
  • Seek new methods and creative strategies to increase internal and external awareness of key events and other topics of interest. 
  • Tracking of KPI and awareness of Communication initiatives.
  • Maintain close partnership and coordination with External Agencies and Suppliers.

 

YOU COULD BE THE PERFECT FIT IF YOU HAVE:

 

 

  • Minimum 12-15 years experience working closely with pre commercial/commercialized life sciences corporate communication departments. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication or related fields. Master’s degree and experience in the Life Sciences industry a plus.
  • Strong PR and media relations experience with mainstream, trade and scientific media.
  • Attention to detail and aesthetics in evaluating video and graphic designs.
  • Strong written and oral communications with fluency in English, Italian is a plus.
  • The aptitude to serve as an individual contributor who is excited to have daily collaboration with media outlets, executive leadership team, as well as the global corporate communication lead out of headquarters.
  • Content creation for websites and social networks (LinkedIn, Facebook); Social media analytics; Digital Campaign management; Webinar organization; media relations; Copy writing and editing.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - published samples will be requested.
  • Experience building and maintaining a social media presence
  • Knowledge of analytical and technical skills as well as of trends.

LOCATION & TRAVEL


The ideal candidate will be located on the West coast of the United States, having the ability to regularly be present in the San Mateo US headquarters to meet with US Leadership. Additionally, there will be a travel requirement including flight travel, up to 30% of the time to global headquarters in Milan, Italy.

Base salary: $180,000 - $290,000 a year

At Dompe, we offer an attractive compensation package to our team members. Any offer would include a competitive base salary (estimate shared above), incentive bonus, and benefits package customary to the position. Actual individual pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
